Climbing Clouds under the Sun

Product Description
silver gelatin prints 3 x ( 88 x 106 cm). edition 1+1 AP

A triptych of one mountain with clouds in different formations rushing by providing a fleeting glimpse of time and a reflection on the relationship of the nature of mountains and the ephemeral quality of time.

I found a bit of the same pensive mood in one of Constable's 'Cloud Studies'. Here's a quote:

"A light-filled cleft in the clouds divides the image in two; its impact is made the greater by the blue-grey mass to its left. This is the true subject of the study, one of the 'large climbing Clouds under the Sun'" Constable noted in his inscription.

Framing  3 x float frames 92 x 110 cm, solid beechwood oiled, inside painted black. The prints are waxed so it's protected against accidental moisture and environmental degradation.
